What is Root Canal?

Root canal therapy is used to save a painful and infected tooth. Teeth which have had large cavities and significant damage are prone to infection.

Once infected, their tooth either needs to be extracted, or we can save it with root canal therapy. If the tooth is left untreated, the infection may spread to other teeth or other areas of the head and neck.

Our philosophy is to save your tooth, where possible, for as long as possible. There are many replacement options, but nothing as good as your own!

Will a Root Canal get rid of my pain?

When a tooth requires a root canal, in most cases there is infection and severe pain.

Once you are comfortable and 100% numb, we gently remove the infection and place medicine in the tooth which will get rid of your pain.
