Your First Visit – What to expect?

Your first visit at Emu Plains Family Dental is one of comfort, relaxation and education.

Come inside to our state of the art practice located in Lennax Village and be greeted by one of our friendly staff at reception.

Once in our waiting room, complete the necessary forms that will help us give you the best treatment possible. Help yourself to a tea or coffee, use our mobile phone chargers on offer, utilise our free wifi and let the little ones play with the educational toys available.

Your consultation with our friendly clinicians will begin with a chat covering any concerns, anxieties and complaints you may have regarding your oral health. Our aim here is just to get to know you, your needs and expectations.

Whilst seated in our premium dental chair we will begin with taking records and scans of your mouth. We will complete a thorough and professional exam checking your teeth, gums, muscles and everything in-between.

Once this is complete we will take some photos of your teeth to illustrate anything that needs to be brought to your attention. At this stage you may notice the beautiful and calming smell of our aromatherapy diffusers or the TV on the ceiling with your favourite Netflix shows.

After the examination we will complete a professional clean and polish of your mouth removing any soft plaque and hard tartar. This is followed by a remineralising topical fluoride therapy to try and restore any weakened areas of enamel.
